The Presidential Political Contributions of Big Pharma in 2007

“I don’t believe you can sit at a table and negotiate with drug companies, insurance companies, oil companies and hope that they will voluntarily give their power away,” John Edwards said, according to the Chicago Tribune. “We will get their power out of their hands when we take their power away from them.”

“I’ve taken on the drug companies,” Hillary Clinton said, according to the New York Times. “I’ve taken on the health insurance companies; I’ve taken on the oil companies, and I intend to keep doing it.”

Funny thing, the drug companies seem to love the people who are going to crush them . . . here's what they donated, according to Open Secrets. Even Edwards got some . . .

Perhaps the safest bet is that not much will change after the election? After all they're all bought and paid for:
